Here's Some Total Momsense!

One of my best friends emailed this to me, and I just couldn't help but post it. I've only been a mom for 5 1/2 years, but I've already said several of the things mentioned in this video. ENJOY!

My New Recliner! :)

This is where I found the girls this morning when I got up. We just purchased this recliner last night for me. I'm so excited to have it!! Our couch is awesome, but it's starting to become difficult for me to get up from as my pregnancy progresses. :) The girls are enjoying it quite a bit, too.


It is a rocker-recliner that is soooo comfortable!! It's hard to tell in the picture, but it does match our couch. I took a pillow from our couch yesterday to make sure.

Took Me Long Enough! :)

I wanted to post this with the Lunch Break post, but couldn't figure it out. Then I also didn't have the time to spend figuring it out, either. Better late than never!

Lunch Break

This is how my husband, Andy, and a couple of guys he works with spent their lunch break one day. Andy is not a hunter, but he enjoys target practice from time to time. He really likes the gun that is on his holster at the moment. I can't remember what it's called--big shock. :) He would love to have a hand gun, but I'm not excited about having a gun in the house someday. I don't know why. My dad always had guns in the house because he is a hunter.

Christmas in June--almost!

We had some excitement in the middle of our week! I had ordered Anne's home schooling curriculum from Sonlight this past Sunday, and it came in!!!! I was so thrilled! It was almost as good as Christmas!! Anne was thrilled as well! There were two large boxes since I ordered the Core Ultra K package. I love how it's so literature based--even though I have a math background. Anne keeps asking when we're going to start. She loves to learn!! She'll be getting the whole gamut in August--Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, Math, and Handwriting.

We had another order come through UPS on Thursday, and Naomi asked if that was her school stuff. :( Unfortunately it was not because I'm going to use the Letter of the Week for her. The lesson plans are laid out on a website so it will be up to me to provide the "school stuff." She's not quite ready for Kindergarten curriculum and needs more work on alphabet concepts.

I've put everything back in the boxes already, but will probably get it all out again. I'll take pictures when I do and post them. I'm anxious to get it all organized by weeks according to the instructor's guides.

1. Today was my last day of school. I'm now officially a stay-at-home, home schooling mom!

2. I can't get enough of good Mexican food. I could eat it 24/7!!

3. I love to watch "Lost," and am anxious for the next season to start--I know I have a while to wait.

4. Keeping house is a challenge for me--especially during the school year! Now that I'm done the house will get a major face lift, but after about a week of doing NOTHING! :)

5. My husband and I will celebrate 10 years of marriage in August of this year. Yeah!

6. Sometimes I still can't believe we're having our third child in October, and am wondering what the heck we got ourselves into. :)

7. If we weren't planning to sell our house eventually I would love to get into landscaping. I have found that I have a secret passion for it, but I just haven't had the time. I don't know if I even have a green thumb, but would love to find out! Who knew!

My Two Princesses

So far we only have 2 girls, but there is one more on the way. She should be making her appearance around Halloween. Thus the blog title My Three Princesses. The girl on the left is Naomi, and she is 4 years old. Anne is on the right, and she is 5 1/2 years old. Both are very excited about the new arrival of Melanie. They are full of questions and the wonder of my ever growing belly.

First Attempt
